Today's "Ray of Light" is simple, but SO huge for me...I was up, exercised, dressed, showered, with my boys fed, clothed, and Bradley to preschool by 10:00 am! Miracles DO happen!
It was SUCH a huge accomplishment for me. YAY! It just makes me feel like maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel...still very much at the end of the tunnel, but at least it's now visible.
My Struggle With Depression
Touched By Hope
As depression englufed the last two years of my life I am constantly amazed at the moments of peace and light that have been placed in my way. I have found the light of true faith. Not just a belief in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but faith that is changing my very way of being. Faith that is pulling me out of the darkest place I have ever been into the light and peace that can only come from the love and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is my journey.

- I'm madly in love with the man of my dreams...my husband Ryan. I have two darling and VERY active little boys, Bradley & Braeden. I gratefully spend my days at home with them. I am a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and truly attribute any level of happiness to the teachings learned from my membership. I am fighting and uphill war with major depression, but I feel that as I learn more about true faith I am winning more battles.

Hi Marianne...I have really been uplifted reading your thoughts. Thanks for sharing them.
While I don't struggle with depression, I do struggle with some health issues that really make it hard to keep going, and many of the things you say apply to that just as well.
I'm loving the ray of light idea. :)
